The freshman ran the opening leg of the Wolfpack's 400-relay team Saturday night at the Arcadia Invitational that wound up setting a Valley record with a time of 41.83. Fisher also recorded a long jump of 21 feet, 2 /12 inches during the day session at Arcadia to finish third in that event.

Gonzales had the type of day everyone dreams of on Wednesday. Gonzales hit two home runs, the second of which was a walkoff, two-run homer that lifted the Wolfpack to a 7-6 victory over Fullerton at the Anaheim Lions tournament. Great Oak improved to 12-3 with the win.

The senior paced the Tigers to a wild victory Wednesday afternoon, as he went 4-for-5 with four RBIs, a home run, and a game-winning, run-scoring single in extra innings as the Tigers edged San Jacinto, 10-9, to win the Tahquitz Titan Classic in nine innings. Herring also collected three hits in an 8-3 win over Tahquitz in pool play.

Standifer won both the shotput (37 feet, 8 inches) and discus (109-3) as Elsinore downed Temescal Canyon, 103-24, in a dual meet Thursday. Elsinore improved to 2-0 in league and 5-2 overall with the win. On Saturday at Arcadia, Standifer also turned in a mark of 38-9.
