Lakeside | Girls soccer

The senior continues to score at will, as she tallied a whopping nine goals last week in a 9-0 win over Perris on Wednesday and a 7-1 victory over Heritage on Friday. The Montana-bound forward now has 104 total goals in her career at Lakeside High School.

Josh Constant

Great Oak | Boys soccer

Constant scored the game-winning goal with about 15 seconds left in stoppage time in a 3-2 victory Thursday over Vista Murrieta.

Marissa Everett

Temescal Canyon | Girls soccer

The freshman scored both goals in the Titans' 2-1 Sunbelt League victory Friday afternoon over Paloma Valley. With Everett's help, the Titans are pushing the Wildcats for second place in league as the race enters the regular-season's final week.

Andres Garnica

Tahquitz | Boys soccer

Garnica racked up 11 saves and kept his team in the match Thursday during a 3-1 Mountain Pass league loss to Citrus Hill, the top-ranked team in Division VI.

Garrison Holmes

Temecula Valley | Boys basketball

Holmes scored a team-high 17 points in the Golden Bears' 77-70 double-overtime victory over Chaparral on Thursday night.

After the Lions suffered a tough loss to Ontario Christian on Tuesday night, House and her teammates rebounded with a 52-18 win over Calvary Murrieta on Friday. House scored 16 points in the victory.

Abby Johnston

Chaparral | Girls basketball

Johnston scored 26 points in the Pumas' 81-45 victory over Temecula Valley on Thursday night, following up on a 12-point performance in Chaparral's 55-30 victory Tuesday night over Murrieta Mesa.

John Manhard

Manhard has been a dependable scorer all season for the Lancers, and he enjoyed a breakout night Friday night with a 16-point effort in a 59-49 Sunbelt League victory over Heritage.

Zachary Plummer

Chaparral | Wrestling

Plummer defeated Temecula Valley's Jesse Harlan by pinfall after trailing on point early in the match at Saturday's Southwestern League finals meet. Plummer won the match, and the league title, in 2 minutes, 26 seconds.

Robert Reisenberg

Cal Lutheran | Boys basketball

Resienberg scored 27 points as the C-Hawks continue to roll this season with a 62-42 victory Wednesday over Upland Christian.

Brett Sayre

Temecula Valley | Wrestling

A state placer a year ago, Sayre kept up the dominance Saturday by winning the 170-pound weight class with the fastest pin of the day at Saturday's Southwestern League finals tournament at Vista Murrieta High School. Sayre pinned Chaparral's Yopoldo Rodriguez in 30 seconds to win the league championship.

Reid Shackelford

Murrieta Valley | Boys basketball

The senior hit 5 3-pointers and scored a game-high 21 points in the Nighthawks' 60-39 win over Murrieta Mesa on Thursday. Murrieta Valley has a one-game lead in the league with two to play.

Breanna Turner

Paloma Valley | Girls basketball

Turner scored 26 points — including 10-for-11 from the free-throw line — as the Wildcats scored a 74-55 Sunbelt League victory over Heritage on Wednesday.

Torin Webb

Linfield Christian | Boys basketball

Webb had a big night Tuesday night as the Lions came within a hair of scoring a major victory. Webb scored 17 points in the Lions' 48-46 Ambassador League loss to Ontario Christian.
