The senior forward had a double-double of 13 points and 12 rebounds in an 84-54 Sunbelt League victory over Temescal Canyon on Friday night, two nights after a 14-rebound effort in a victory over Lakeside. Dedeaux's presence under the basket has given the Tigers tremendous balance as they streaked to a 2-0 start in the Sunbelt League.

The freshman scored two more goals Friday as the Titans outlasted Elsinore for a 3-2 Sunbelt League victory. Temescal Canyon improved to 2-0 in the Sunbelt League with the win, and 7-6-1 overall.

Hardy scored a whopping nine goals Thursday in an 18-5 win over Elsinore and she added eight more combined Saturday in a loss to Vista and a victory over Palm Desert. All three performances came in the Five Counties tournament.

The junior guard has been nearly unstoppable in the opening of Southwestern League play. She scored 26 of Vista Murrieta's 38 points in a 51-38 loss to Chaparral last Tuesday, and on Thursday, she bucketed 28 more points — including 11 of 12 from the free-throw line — in a 67-61 victory over Temecula Valley.

The UC Santa Barbara-committed senior scored 18 points last Tuesday in a 51-38 victory over Vista Murrieta and 17 more Thursday in a 42-25 win over Murrieta Mesa. Chaparral, at 2-0 in league, visits Temecula Valley in a 7 p.m. game Tuesday.

Thompson has picked up some of the production in place of the injured Brandon Rosser while still maintaining his defensive presence for the Golden Bears. On Tuesday, Thompson scored 14 points and grabbed a team-high nine rebounds in a 59-51 loss to Murrieta Valley; on Thursday, he tallied eight points and nine more rebounds in a 62-57 win over Vista Murrieta.

The senior forward has been a huge part of the Rams' 2-0 start, as he scored 17 points in each of their first two Southwestern League games — a 59-51 victory over Great Oak last Tuesday and a 67-53 upset of Chaparral on Thursday. The Rams get a crack at top-ranked Murrieta Valley in a game there on Tuesday.
