Scouting report: The Knights are more than set at the skill positions on offense. Of the 36 touchdowns scored last season, the players who scored 33 of them were freshmen and sophomores. The wing-T offense is a perfect fit for Bishop’s because of a relatively small number of players in the program and a distinct shortage of size on both lines. Graft, a junior, led the ’12 team in rushing with 229 carries for 1,773 yards, 18 TDs and 138 total points, and in receiving with 10 catches for 147 yards and two TDs. Britanico, a sophomore, had 60 carries for 365 yards and three TDs. Nahm, a senior, threw only 38 passes, completing 20 of them for 252 yards with two TDs and four interceptions. The biggest offensive lineman weighs just 190 pounds. The defense employs a 3-3-5 alignment because of a wealth of secondary-type players. Anderson is being counted on to bolster the defensive line despite being a freshman.
