OPEN DIVISION

(1) St. Augustine (28-2) vs. (3) La Costa Canyon (26-5)

When: Saturday, 8 p.m. Radio: 1700-AM.

Outlook: St. Augustine hasn’t lost to a San Diego team this season, losing back-to-back December games to Chino Hills (66-55) and Mayfair (61-60). Led by Trey Kell, Eric Monroe, Martin Tombe, Johnny Peterson and Dallas Haupt, the Saints have won 17 in a row, including a 79-74 win over La Costa Canyon on Jan. 20. The Mavericks have won 10 of their last 12, with both losses to El Camino, a team the Mavericks beat in Wednesday’s semifinal. Tommy McCarthy (17), Brady Twombly (17), Travis Fuller (16.3, 8.8 rebounds), Patrick Fisher (9.4) and Fritz Eibel (7.2, 5.3 rebounds) are the starters. The Mavericks have made 184 3-pointers.

DIVISION I

(3) San Marcos (21-8) vs. (12) Morse (17-12)

When: Friday, 8 p.m. TV: Time Warner 825. Radio: 1700-AM.

Outlook: Perhaps the lowest seed to ever play for a championship, Morse is led by Jah’mere Mitchell (16.9), Justin Davis (13.9), 6-foot-9 freshman Brandon McCoy (11.5) and Kenny McDonald (10.2). San Marcos is led by Ben Perez (16.7), Johnny McWilliams (16) and Trace Dimeff (10), who has 52 3-pointers. Morse has won five games in a row, San Marcos eight in a row.

DIVISION II

(1) Mater Dei Catholic (27-2) vs. (2) Francis Parker (25-4)

When: Friday, 6 p.m. TV: Time Warner 825. Radio: 1700-AM.

Outlook: Mater Dei Catholic brings a 21-game winning streak into the finals after a 75-51 semifinal win over Mt. Carmel behind Iman Chatman’s 16 points and Jonathan Dutra’s 14 points. Mater Dei’s last loss was to San Juan Capistrano JSerra on Dec. 14 in the Arizona Catholic Invitational. Francis Parker has won six straight since a 23-point loss to Army-Navy on Feb. 14. The Lancers beat Steele Canyon 55-46 in the semifinals as 6-foot-10 Evan Fitzner scored 22 points. Mater Dei eliminated Parker in last year’s semifinals.

DIVISION III

(1) Sweetwater (28-0) vs. (2) Kearny (24-2)

When: Friday, 3 p.m. TV: Time Warner 825 Radio: 1700-AM

Outlook: This game is more than worth the price of admission. The Red Devils, looking for a rare unbeaten season, are led by Spencer Mattox (22.9) and C.J. Cadua (15.9) and seek their first title since 1989 by using a stifling defense to offset a lack of size. Youthful Kearny, led by soph Takoda Browne (14.7) and junior Austin Knox (11.7), has won 18 straight games.

DIVISION IV

(1) Orange Glen (25-5) vs. (2) Tri-City Christian (21-8)

When: Friday, 1 p.m. TV: Time Warner 825.

Outlook: Tri-City Christian is led by seniors John Luke Reinke (17.4) and Benjamin Giese (14.1, 7.8 rebounds) and freshman Matt DeRoos (11.2). Orange Glen is a mix of seniors Kalyn Thomas (15.9) and 6-foot-6 Khor Tut (12.2, 7.6 rebounds) and freshmen Michael Diaz (11.2), Trevor Owens (8.5) and Devin Diaz (8.0). Orange Glen beat Tri-City 68-52 on Dec. 27.
