2. Once a representative from Sport Ngin has reviewed your request, you'll receive an email confirming your access and detailing how to get started managing your team page.

SCORE GAME USING SPORT NGIN (RECOMMENDED)

To use the Sport Ngin scoring application, please follow these instructions (you must be logged in to your Sport Ngin account and granted Team Page Access in order to do this):

Step 1: Navigate to your Team Page and then click on the Edit/User Mode switch near the upper right corner.

Edit Mode should be colored yellow.

Step 2: Click on Game Schedule under your team.

Step 3: Under the Status header, click on your game's start time (it may show as "Final" if another user has already entered the score) to go to the game page.

Step 4: Click Score Live to use Sport Ngin Live* and record the play-by-play and statistics in real-time during the game, or click Edit Stats to enter team and player stats in a tabular format after the game. Use Quick Score if you're only reporting the score and not recording stats.

Step 5: Click on FINAL.

*Sport Ngin Live currently available only for baseball, football, and softball.

SUBMIT SCORES TO U-T preps FOR ENTRY

If you prefer to submit your varsity results after the game to the staff at U-T Preps, we will enter them for you. We ask that the home team from all games contact us. Please submit results ASAP after each game to ensure inclusion in the next edition of the Union-Tribune.

Results submitted to U-T Preps will appear both online and in print. The Union-Tribune will run scores from the San Diego Section in the next day's newspaper.

You have two options for submitting results after the game:

Option 1: Phone in score and statistics: (619) 821-8208

Option 2: Email score and statistics: utpreps@sportngin.com

Please note:

Results should be submitted using either of the above options only for the following sports:

• Baseball
• Basketball (Boys & Girls)
• Football
• Soccer (Boys & Girls)
• Softball

Results for all other sports should be called in to (619) 293-1342 or emailed to sports@sduniontribune.com.
